Boom! Liz was a PiPH Artist in Residence (AIR) in the Summer of 2023 and we are proud to debut this groundbreaking collection centered around sobriety, recovery and mental health. In Liz's own words:

"Awareness around mental health, addiction, and sobriety have increased, but many people still don’t know what to say to someone who’s struggling. With this line of cards my intention was to create something to help both parties. The person who may be struggling and the loved one who wants to help but doesn’t know how. Therapy, medication, and sobriety are all miraculous methods of healing and there should be no shame around one attempting to live the best life they possibly can.

As a sober person living with chronic mental illness, there have been critical moments throughout my life where communication and support were unfortunately missing, but would have been vital to my wellbeing. In the darkest places, what I’ve found most helpful is simple acknowledgement. I wanted this collection to make someone who’s in pain feel seen, heard, and even proud of who they are while simultaneously providing a tangible piece of support from someone who may not know what to say.

Paper Epiphanies was the perfect place to bring this collection to life for they exist to fill the glaring gaps in the stationery industry. They’re fearless and proud to tell the real stories, to create works that represent one’s true experience, and to disrupt stale antiquated spaces for the better. I’m so proud to have worked with them to tell my story for it’s a common one that has yet to be told."
